Visiting the poster museum was so inspiring. It was very historical, with the polish poster movement taking place during and after the war.
The diversity of work in the museum was really great to see, but most of it was created with stencils and spray paint.
It really helped visiting this museum with a Polish person, as she was able to translate certain things for me that I wouldn't have understood.
There is so much culture and history and design in Poland, which is why I really want to pursue an intern over there. I am not worried about the language barrier, as everyone out there seems to speak almost perfect English. I think it would push me as a creative, enhance my practice and give me a life experience that I will always remember.
I have sent out numerous emails, but I need to just keep pushing. Im sure something will come up, but for now I just need to work on my portfolio and gain some more confidence with my work, so that when something comes up I will be completely ready.
