170th mural in Leeds train station

Yesterday I was part of the team that created the mural down in Leeds city train station to celebrate 170 years of Leeds College of art. It was an absolute honour to work for George, as he is definitely an amazing team leader and creative. Making his design come to life was so much fun, and so inspiring.

It was, so, so cold. And it took us 13.5 hours from start to finish, but it was completely worth every second, and every little bit of pain. I am, as Im sure everyone else is, so so proud of George, and so so proud of the team for creating this.

It was a really great opportunity to do what we do but in public. For people to see our creativity, in what is usually a mundane environment. It was a great time to network, as we were introduced to David, who runs independent Leeds magazine- a really great contact to have. We also spoke to loads of passers by, explaining what we were doing etc. It was really great to interact with the public on such a large scale, whilst promoting and inspiring creativity.
This day really meant a lot to me, and I am super thankful to have been a part of it.
