Before starting studio brief 2 - the illustrated self, I did a little artist research.
Edith Carron has some beautiful work, that I feel i can relate to when reflecting on my own work from this year. Its interesting how she covers pressing issues with child like illustrations. I really admire that, and feel my homeless project was approached in a similar way.
Chocolate wrappers! Again thinking of various surfaces that could be worked upon. I know we talked about these sorts of things throughout the year, but only now is it sinking in. Need to be bold and think outside the box!
