After Colours may vary posted a photo of my work on Instagram, I was contacted by this person regarding purchasing a print. She was so lovely and easy to sell to, and there wasn't a problem with payment or postage and it all went smoothly. When she received it she sent me these messages. Much to my surprise, she knows the person that set up the London illustration fair.
It just goes to show that you could be selling work to anyone, and it really pays to be polite and nice.(not that I ever wouldn't be)
She has offered to speak to her friend and see how you get a table for me. I know I could do it, but if she asks on my behalf I should hopefully gain another contact.
This got me really excited. Networking is actually so much fun, I love meeting new people, even if it is through social media. I really want to work with people.
